Send Out Cards is such an amazing service. You can’t beat the time and money you save, over and over again. Not to mention how it builds your friendships and business.
And the time-saving at Christmas time is beyond compare. Especially when something suddenly comes up, and the perfect card is needed.
This happened to me just last week, when I found out that my co-worker’s mother died. Suddenly she was not at work for a week: as the eldest child, my co-worker was responsible for organising the funeral.
Now I don’t know about you, but I try to avoid the shops during the week before Christmas – I always try to get all of my shopping done before then. The time it takes to first fight through traffic, hunt for a place to park, search for the right card, stand in a queue at the cash register, and then fight through the traffic all over again … this is what I used to have to do. All up, no exaggeration, I would say this would take close to an hour. 45 minutes, minimum – depending on how quickly I managed to find the right card.
But not anymore, thanks to Send Out Cards!
It’s all so quick.
I logged on, chose an appropriate image for the card. Then I used Picture Plus to write “To Rhonda and Family” on the image, on the front of the card. And quickly added a personal, caring message to the inside. Selected her name from my contact manager, and then sent off the card – all up, it took me less than 2 minutes.
And I was spared the stress of holiday traffic, holiday crowds, etc.
When my colleague returned to work she gave me the biggest hug. She said that she was really touched by this card, and loved that it was personalised. I’ve let her sign up with a guest account, so she can see how fun and easy it is to use this system.
But best of all, on top of all this, she felt cared about and was delightfully surprised. The truth is that she and I have one of those “oil and water” relationships: there has always been friction, despite our efforts to improve things. It’s just the way it is sometimes in human relationships. She was so blown away that I, of all her co-workers, would have sent her a card. And ever since then, she has been much warmer and friendlier to me: our relationship is growing rapidly.
Isn’t it amazing what one card can do? Thank you, Send Out Cards!
