I have been blessed with a lot of good friends.  We all have a group of people we love and care about.  Unfortunately, we tend to be a little lazy when it comes to staying in touch with those folks.  I have discovered an awesome way to not only remember all the special occasions coming up in my loved ones lives, I have a way to act on it, IMMEDIATELY!

I have an old high school buddy who has a daughter one year older than mine.  The girls have played basketball and softball together through the years and it's been a lot of fun watching them.  His daughter is an exceptional pitcher.  I took a picture of her throwing a pitch and put a word bubble over her head with the words "This one's for you Dad!".  I then put that picture into a card and sent it to him.  The day he received that card he called me and told me that was one of the nicest things anyone had ever done for him.  He now has it proudly posted in his office.  Do you think I got a wonderful feeling from sending him that card?  You bet!
